What is the program?
Students from UH may spend a semester or a year studying economics and business at Thammasat University in Bangkok, Thailand. Thammasat has one of the premier university economics programs in Asia, with over 60 instructors offering a full range of undergraduate economics and business courses. All courses are taught in English. An English language honors program exists for Thai and international students.
How does it work?
UH students take courses at Thammasat and earn credit towards their UH diploma (while Thammasat students do the same at UH).

Where will I live?
Thammasat University has limited dormitory space for Thai and foreign students. In the event that dormitory space is not available, students may find rooming houses and apartment in areas with reasonable access to the University at reasonable prices. Foreign students will be assisted in finding accommodations.
How much does it cost?
UH students pay their regular UH tuition, along with paying for books, student fees, travel and living expenses not covered by financial aid.
Is financial aid available?
Please consult with the staff of the financial aid office for more information.
Who can apply?
Students with a background in economics and a minimum GPA of 3.0. Preference is given to students majoring in economics.
How do I apply?
Complete and submit an application form, available in the Department of Economics, Social Sciences Building 542 or download an application form (PDF).
What is the deadline for applications?
You must apply by March 15 to be considered for the following academic year.
