Admission
Students can join the Economic Honors Program anytime after they are accepted into the UH Manoa Honors Program.
- Acceptance into the UH Honors program.
- A declared Econ major.
- Econ GPA of 3.3.
- A letter of endorsement from a faculty in the Economics department agreeing to be the research project's faculty advisor.
- All of these requirements should be documented on the application form and the letter of endorsement form (see our forms page), and both forms should be submitted to the Economics Department Office (Saunders 542).
